What is SVWUX?

SVWUX is a club for enthusiasts of data networking using wireless technologies, providing a forum for discussion and innovation. It is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the South Bay Community Network, Inc., a California non-profit corporation.

Current projects include establishing an IP-based Emergency Wireless Network (EWN) in Santa Clara County, providing Internet access at the LinuxPicnic, and assisting Stratofox with deploying a communications network in Nevada.

How do I get involved?

There are two public forums where you can start to get involved in SVWUX: the monthly meeting and mailing lists. You can also meet SVWUX members and ask questions in the IRC chat or any SBAY Pizza meeting.
